David Maiullo, Piano Mr. Maiullo is an actively involved accompanist/coach in the New York City metropolitan area. He has performed in over 1,200 recitals and programs, including several appearances on WQXR's "The Listening Room,” on WNYC with Steve Sullivan. Mr. Maiullo has performed at Carnegie, Avery Fisher, Alice Tully and Merkin concert halls; his repertoire includes choral music, musical theater, art song, instrumental literature, ballet and opera. He was awarded a scholarship as accompanist to the American Institute of Musical Studies, Graz, Austria has been a recipient of a fellowship with the Opera-Music Theater International. Mr. Maiullo has performed throughout Eastern and Western Europe on numerous tours with the Ars Musica Chorale, performing the European Premier of “Mass” for its composer, Gian Carlo Menotti at the 1989 Spoleto Festival and appearing in concert in Edinburgh “Fringe Festival” in 1995. He accompanied them on their 1991 Tour of Eastern Europe and the 1993 Tour of Switzerland and Northern Italy. In 1997, he once again was accompanist for Ars Music Chorale on their tour of France and was Accompanist/Coach for “Masterclass 2000” at Imola, Italy. In 1999, he was accompanist for the Ars Musica tour of Spain and Portugal.
